I’m a wife, mom of three, high school art teacher, and lifelong maker. I earned my MFA from Georgia Southern University and spent time working in graphic design and marketing before finding my way into the classroom. But honestly, I’ve always been making something. Whether it’s painting a landscape, experimenting with a new medium, or starting a project just because I had an idea, creating has always been a part of who I am. These days, I work in acrylic and watercolor, dabble in oil pastels, and follow my curiosity wherever it takes me. My life runs on water, wine, coffee, and what I’m pretty sure is an undiagnosed case of ADHD. I love making things that bring me joy, and I’m learning that at least one completely unproductive day a month is less of a luxury and more of a necessity these days.
Hop over to my photography page if you’re local to the Savannah area and we can talk photos vs paintings!
